Tiny dots making up fantastical landscapes form the unique and captivating style of Abi Overland, who graduated with a BA (Hons) in Illustration from the University of Brighton in 2014 and freelanced for a while before starting her own business.
Her luxury homeware and art print brand was founded in 2015, through which she sell her own original illustrated art prints and home accessories.
Abi’s favourite creation this year was a piece she created in the middle of lockdown, which she felt “seemed to resonate most with people.”

Abi talks of her use of art as a helpful distraction to cope with the stresses of lockdown, explaining: “It was my method of escapism when I was feeling pretty claustrophobic and scared and was definitely doom scrolling way too much.
“Plus I was rather concerned about the singular toilet roll I had left that at the time seemingly needed to last the year.
“I kind of just wanted to live in a tiny cabin in the middle of nowhere with no internet, and no information overload.”
