Those boxes are used to store catches, and they had suffered heavy damage as they were thrown up the beach by the waves.
The fishermen, together with the Harbour team, and Stuart Cox of Kiln Farm, with his heavy lifting machinery, all helped to clear up the damage as the storm eased.

Harbour Master Adam Rose said: “Thankfully at this time of year there are very few vessels left in the water.
“However, two of the store boxes used by local fishermen were parted from their moorings and washed ashore. The owners of both store boxes and Mr Cox have been extremely helpful in working with the harbour team to ensure that the debris was cleared as soon as practicable.”
The Met Office says winds regularly exceeded 50 knots earlier in the week.
