Over the weekend, searchers found the body of Polar Bear on the path between Plémont and Gronez.

The Jersey Dog Forum posted the sad news yesterday morning:

Polar Bear

The seven-year-old Labradoodle went missing a couple of weeks ago after a walk on the cliff paths at Plémont, and was last seen close to her owners’ house near Café Ouen.

The search involved many islanders including Esta Williams, who regularly goes out to help with her husband whenever a dog goes missing. “We do it simply because we would like someone to do the same if one of our dogs went missing,” she commented.

Friends of Polar Bear’s family even used their drones to try and locate the dog but couldn’t find anything. The family also went on a boat to see if she had gone into the sea.

But that search came to an end yesterday morning, with the news of Polar Bear’s body being found on the cliff paths.
