Police are looking for the driver of a car which crashed into a lamp post yesterday morning and failed to stop.

Officers said the collision happened around 11:00 on La Grande Route de St Martin, just past St John Ambulance in St Martin.

They said the crash involved a “graphite grey” car – believed to be a Toyota Auris – which had caused “significant damage to the lamp post, and possibly to the vehicle itself”.
