Casa Paco had previously announced it would be giving 10% of its takings from lunch and dinner sittings last Friday and Saturday to the Cruz Roja.
It cited the need to support the humanitarian response to “catastrophic” flooding that has claimed the lives of over 200 people and caused devastation in Valencia, where Casa Paco’s owner, Paco Lora, hails from.

The Spanish Red Cross is among the organisations contributing to relief efforts in the region.
In a statement issued yesterday, the restaurant said that – thanks to the “amazing support” of islanders – it had been able to donate over £1,100 to the charity.
The statement continued: “A big thank you also to the local media for their support and to the wonderful team at Casa Paco for their dedication and hard work.
“We couldn’t have done it without you and we are truly touched by your generosity.”
