Police are appealing for witnesses after an alleged road rage incident on Christmas Eve ended with a driver being assaulted outside a St Helier chip shop.
Officers said the incident happened at around 6.30pm on Wednesday 24 December on Trinity Road, on the bend outside the Prime Fry Chip Shop.
It involved a white van and a black Peugeot 208.
During the reported altercation, one of the occupants of the white van got out and assaulted the driver of the Peugeot, kicking and punching them before driving off.
The victim later attended A&E, where scans showed no fractures or other serious injuries, police said.

Officers are now asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage covering the area at the time, to come forward.
