The statement reads: “Following the discovery last Thursday, 4th August, of the body recovered from Handois reservoir, several samples were taken to the UK for DNA analysis.
“The results confirm that the body is that of 20 year old Adrian Lynch.
“The family have been updated and specialist Family Liaison Officers continue to work in support of the family.
“The States of Jersey Police will now prepare an inquest file for consideration of the Deputy Viscount.”
