Andy Howell has been elected as Constable of Trinity in the first contested election for the parish in almost three decades.
She was first elected to the States Assembly in 2022 to represent St John, St Lawrence and Trinity as Deputy.
Deputy Howell most recently served as Assistant Health Minister with responsibility for women’s health matters, and sat on the Planning Committee.
She will be the first female Constable of Trinity.
Deputy Howell said: “I would like to thank everyone who voted for me and for their support and hard work in this election.
“I am thrilled at the result. I can’t quite believe it. It’s great to be chosen as the Constable of what I consider the best parish.”
She also paid tribute to Mr de Louche, saying that he had worked hard and it had been great to have had competition.
