The number of confirmed active covid cases in Jersey is currently more than 160 – more than half of which are symptomatic.

A number of measures aimed at reducing local virus transmission were announced this afternoon and include a 22:00 curfew on all premises serving alcohol, mask-wearing for students in Years 11, 12 and 13 and a new ‘Rule of 10’ for informal gatherings

The Chief Minister warned that, if islanders are unable to follow the new rules, a mini lockdown in December would be likely to follow.
