The pictures, taken from CCTV coverage of the area, show three young men – the fact that the police have issued the pictures doesn’t mean that the men are suspects in the assault, they could be witnesses that the police want to talk to.
In October, the States of Jersey Police launched the “Caught on Camera” initiative, through which they share images of people that they want to talk to on social media, and on their own dedicated web page.

The initiative is a tried and tested one in the UK, and the Jersey scheme is one that has been modelled on one that has been run successfully by the West Yorkshire Police.
