Following the collapse of retail giant Arcadia Group, joint administrators have now announced the sale of the high street stores. Through this transaction, BooHoo will acquire all brands, inventory and intellectual property rights of the high street chains.

“This transaction completes the sale of the Arcadia brands,” said a spokesperson for Arcadia. “It follows the sale of Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and HIIT to ASOS on 4 February 2021 and the sale of Evans to City Chic on 23 December 2020.”
When asked by the Express, no specific comment was given on the Guernsey and Jersey branches, or the future of their staff.
However, in a statement, Arcadia said all stores will close and will offer “transitional services” over the coming months.
The administration process has so far raised £500m for creditors and is ongoing.
