Written by singer-songwriter-musician Martin Coxshall, it draws inspiration from just cultural giants as René Descartes, Michael Jackson and Oscar Puffin.

Did you know for, instance, that Tracey Vallois juggles pineapples while whistling through a polo?

Or Steve Pallett knows how to communicate in semaphore?

Or that John Le Fondré can perform a Beautiful Jersey in a most unusual way?

Mr Coxshall said that, although the song was a little pokey, its message was a serious one: “Go out and vote.”

“I was driven by the curiosity of what would happen if everyone went out and voted,” he said.

“You can only create the leadership you want and have a meaningful place in society by voting, so I urge people to do it.”

Mr Coxshall will next be playing at Smugglers’ Inn at Ouaisne on Saturday 9 July from around 20:30, part of his epic ‘Genuine Martin’ Tour.
