Ferry sailings have been cancelled as strong winds threaten to disrupt travel this week and during the October half-term holidays.
DFDS is planning extra services between Jersey, France and the UK to help affected passengers, while other scheduled sailings remain under review.
An additional high-speed return sailing between Jersey and St Malo is planned for Monday 26 October, alongside an extra Stena Vinga sailing on the Portsmouth route on Sunday 25 October.
Both remain subject to weather and operational conditions.
The operator is also adjusting departure times where possible to take advantage of suitable weather and working to maintain freight deliveries to the Island.
DFDS said it was monitoring opportunities for its freight vessel, the Caesarea Trader, to arrive in Jersey on Wednesday or Thursday, with conditions on Friday expected to be more challenging.
Safety must always come first, but we will do everything we reasonably can to keep passengers and freight moving
Chris Parker, DFDS route director for Jersey
Chris Parker, DFDS route director for Jersey, said: “Strong winds are forecast across the Channel Islands this week and, unfortunately, some disruption to ferry services is unavoidable.
“We appreciate how frustrating this can be for passengers, particularly during the school holidays, and our teams are doing everything possible to minimise the impact.”
He added: “We are planning additional sailings and adjusting schedules wherever conditions allow. Safety must always come first, but we will do everything we reasonably can to keep passengers and freight moving.”
The company is contacting passengers affected by cancellations or timetable changes directly.
Anyone travelling over the coming days is advised to check the latest sailing information before setting off for the Harbour.
