“We will acquire the six houses in order to sell them on to First Time Buyers registered within Band 5 of the Affordable Housing Gateway,” explained Ian Gallichan, Chief Executive of Andium Homes.
“The purchase and onward sale of the homes is being carried out on a “not for profit” basis. We have launched a new page on our website which carries all the information potential purchasers need to know and will be contacting buyers this week to seek levels of interest in these homes. Given the high demand expected, priority will be given to those on the list with children, who have been waiting the longest.”

Sales are due to complete in the coming weeks with the homes ready for occupation by July. The homes will be sold for around £330,000, depending on individual plot sizes.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for first time buyer families to purchase a genuinely affordable three bedroom home,” added Mr Gallichan. “With the average price of a three bedroom home now at £586,000, we are demonstrating that affordable housing providers are working together to make a difference for islanders.”
Michael Van Neste, Chairman of the Jersey Homes Trust, said: “The development has been a huge success. We have managed to increase our affordable rental portfolio with new homes of fantastic quality and we have worked together with Andium Homes to ensure the required units for affordable sale are being sold under a scheme which is proven to work.”
