During the fortnight you’ll be able to meditate with the dolmens and by the seaside and there will be talks on compassion, mindfulness meditation and personal growth as well as art, dancing and mindful walks in nature. The organisers want to engage the whole family in the courses, classes and workshops.
Naomi West of Arts in Mindfulness said: “We are so fortunate to have such a range of excellent mindfulness practitioners on the island and high caliber visiting teachers. This is a wonderful chance for people in Jersey to explore what these practitioners offer, and to find a form of mindfulness that works personally for them to grow their wellbeing and the possibility of living fully alive to each moment. It is promising to be a rich and exciting fortnight.”

Dan Ireland (pictured above) of Capturing Presence suffered with depression and anxiety for many years and is one of the practitioners who has seen the benefits.
He said: “Meditation has been amazing. It has not just enhanced my life; I have seen the benefits of my newfound calmness also enhance the lives of my family as well.”
