As a Station Commander at the Jersey Fire and Rescue Service, Ryan Hall is used to pushing himself to the limit – but later this month, he will be tackling an altogether different challenge as he completes a charity cycle through the Pyranees,

Between 21 and 27 September, Mr Hall will be cycling around 654km reaching nearly 10,000m elevation from Biarritz (Far western-France) to Collioure in the far-East of France. He will be a part of a 52-rider team in support of the 2025 Macmillan Jersey Cycle Challenge.

In 2023, he cycled from London to Paris to raise money for The Firefighters Charity with a £2,000 target.

He said: “Sadly cancer can and does effect so many people, and we will all know and experienced that with someone close to us. The amazing support that Macmillan Jersey gives to those impacted by cancer in Jersey is incredible.”
