Organisers hope everyone including local businesses and schools will get involved and #GoYellow on Friday 26 June.

The charity is selling yellow ribbons with room for a name or message that you can tie to something at home or on your wrist and they hope to see lots of them tied to a dedicated tree at Jersey Hospice Care.

The colour yellow represents hope and memory and they hope Islanders will support them in lots of different ways – with a yellow dress down day, selling yellow food or maybe even sitting in a bath of custard!

Jersey Hospice Care’s Fundraising Manager Kevin Caddell said: “There are lots of fantastic ways to get involved with #GoYellow throughout June and raise vital funds for Jersey Hospice Care.

“Whatever you choose to do, have some fun and please tell us what you are planning. You can tweet us @jerseyhospice using the #GoYellow hashtag or post your pictures to our Facebook and Instagram pages.”
