The Government is shortlisting prospective occupiers for the Les Creux Pavilion site with a focus on “sports and community” uses.
An expressions of interest process was launched in March, and closed last month.

It sought proposals for the development and management of the vacant building – which was built in the early 2000s and previously used as a bowls venue.
Providing an update during the latest sitting of the States Assembly, Infrastructure Minister Andy Jehan said: “I’m delighted to say we’ve had more than 16 expressions of interest in what is a great facility for the island.”
He continued: “The focus is on the community and or sport.
“Currently, the team are evaluating those 16, which will be shortlisted with a view to interviewing a shortlist of prospective occupiers.”
Constable Jehan added that it was the Government’s intention to have interviewed shortlisted parties by the end of May or early June.
“Hopefully we’ll have someone in there for the summer,” he told States Members.
An environmental group has been pushing for the site to be used as part of a wider vision to transform Les Creux Country Park to enable “thriving” community and biodiversity use of the area.
