“It had a load of footage on which is very precious to us, and we don’t have it backed up anywhere… We just really don’t want to lose those memories,” they said.

It’s the third time local musicians have been hit by theft in a week.
44-year-old DJ Stefan Rousseau took to Facebook after having lost two hard drives with the majority of his music collection.
“This is the biggest blow you can get as a professional DJ as it is not just for fun, but I am making a living with this,” he wrote.

Only days later, singer-songwriter Kevin Pallot reported that a case with equipment worth hundreds of pounds was stolen, “…by some guy with no heart or respect at 4:30 Sunday morning from the back of the Troubadour.”
Islanders have since expressed their support online for the affected musicians. One wrote: “Not again!? This is the third time in a week.. Hope it gets returned or the culprits are caught… Uncanny it’s happened again.”
Another said: “What lousy people there are about – horrible untrustworthy people – hope they are caught soon.”
