The scavenger hunt will feature 60 photos of locations, signs or objects throughout the parish, which are all visible from public areas. The goal is to identify these images, on an answer sheet.
It is designed to be accessible to people of all ages – tourists and islanders alike – and can be completed by individuals, families or groups, all at once or over the course of the summer.

Committee Chairman, Juliette Gallichan said that the hunt was as much about encouraging people to go outside and explore as it is about fundraising.
“As well as raising funds for future club activities, we wanted to provide a community focus over the summer… We hope the scavenger hunt will be popular with families looking to add an extra dimension to walks, cycle rides and outings in the parish and also perhaps with some of the local walking groups…Above all, we hope people will have fun taking part.”

There is a fee of £5 to enter, and forms can be collected from either St Mary’s parish hall, St Mary’s youth club, or via the St Mary’s Community Events Facebook page.
There are a number of prizes to be won, including a first place prize of £50 cash.
