The black external stairs, which are said to be of 1970s to 1980s construction and design, were found in a green space along Deloraine Road, St. Saviour, alongside other items of waste on 29 November 2020.
The Government’s Environmental Protection team were alerted and made “extensive enquiries” into where they had come from, but those investigations unfortunately proved fruitless.
The landowner has since been required to remove the waste at their own expense.
Environmental Protection are now appealing to the public to help them find the individual(s) responsible for the flytipping, and urge anyone with more information about the staircase to call them on 441607.
