It charges users around £50 to book a driving theory or practical test at various test centres across the UK and Channel Islands, but the States of Guernsey confirmed that no bookings are actually made on the fake website.

Islanders are also being reminded to only use official government websites – gov.je or gov.gg – to book a driving theory or practical test.
This warning comes after the pandemic caused a backlog in driving test bookings across the UK and Channel Islands in recent years.
Currently, there is a significant backlog in Guernsey with no available test slots until April because only one full-time driving examiner is working at the moment, instead of the usual two.
Colin Le Page, lead officer for Traffic and Highway Services in Guernsey, said: “We want to avoid people wasting their money and facing the disappointment of turning up to a test when no booking has been made.”
