The JADC say the money can be put towards towards their study at University or College, or towards vocational training in Jersey, in the various aspects of performing arts including acting, dancing, music, technical skills (music and theatre), directing or designing.
The applicant must be connected to Jersey either by birth or residence for at least two years before applying.
Although preference will be given to JADC members or those who have previously taken part in a JADC production, the award is open to any student who has completed their GCSEs or equivalent.

The executive members of the JADC Committee will administer the award and determine the conditions under which the award should be given, such as for further study, travel expenses, or the purchase of items relating to study such as books, equipment, or instruments.
