Rockit’s Warren Holt had been determined to get the man behind belters like ‘Lightning Bolt’ and ‘Broken’ back to island shores since he last performed in Jersey.
“After booking Jake twice in the same year for Folklore and Jersey Live back in 2012, it’s taken years of plugging away to bring this incredibly talented young man back to Jersey. Rockit are very pleased to present Jake Bugg with his full band at Fort Regent on 18 May,” he commented.
The singer-songwriter first burst onto the UK music scene with the help of BBC Introducing back in 2017. At just 17 years old, he was one of a talented few invited to play their stage at Glastonbury. Soon after his big break he released his self-titled album, which shot to the top of the UK album chart and has since been certified double platinum.
Now armed with the material from four successful studio albums and the type of stage presence that develops during countless world tours, Rockit hope that the young performer’s Fort Regent gig will be the perfect way to kickstart the summer live music season.
Tickets for the performance will go on sale online on 26 January at 07:00. They are priced at £38 for standing and £48 for seated.
