The 90s indie band top the bill for the event at Val de la Mare, which is being put together by the successful team behind the annual Jersey Live events.
Local girl Nerina Pallot will also play the event, which is returning after a three-year absence, along with 90s rockers Reef, Gentlemen’s Dub Club, Dreadzone, Lloyd Yates, The Doors Alive, Tadgh Daly and Pirate Party Brigade.
Organisers have also promised a line-up of comedians, musicians and spoken words act on a second stage.
Early bird tickets go on sale tomorrow priced at £36 for adults and just £7.50 for children.
Three years ago, Folklore debuted at Peoples’ Park with Van Morrison and a storming set from former Kinks frontman Ray Davies.
The venue at Val de la Mare reservoir has been used for live music – in 2010 the Fun Lovin’ Criminals headlined the Grassroots Festival on the same site.
