Several flights in and out of Jersey have been delayed today as islanders look to travel ahead of Christmas.
Three flights – two British Airways arrivals from Gatwick, and one Blue Islands flight from Exeter – were cancelled this morning.
Meanwhile, many other arrivals were either diverted or delayed, and are due to land in Jersey later this afternoon or evening.
Six departing flights were able to get airborne by 15:00 this afternoon.
Following queries from Express, Ports of Jersey confirmed that Jersey Airport will remain open later than usual this evening.
The Airport usually closes at 21:00. Ports said that there is no definitive time for closure tonight.
