Her sponsorships racked up £200 which she has split between the Animals’ Shelter and Mind Jersey.
Express caught up with Saesha to find out why she set herself this lockdown challenge…

The Year 8 pupil said that she wanted to raise money for local charities as “they are not getting as many donations due to covid-19.”
When asked why she chose these particular charities, Saesha said: “The charities I chose are JSPCA and Mind Jersey as JSPCA were struggling financially before and now there are no charity events taking place and most people’s mental health is more fragile in these times.”
Although she said that walking around her garden for 10 hours straight was “tiring as expected”, she said that her friends spurred her on by “supporting [her] through FaceTime.”

Saesha added: “I am proud of what I achieved and happy that it helped charities as well.”
Describing the experience as “rewarding”, Saesha said she took comfort in the fact the money was “going to a good cause.”
