It has been reported that passport office workers in the UK will take strike action for five weeks beginning on 3 April.
More than 1,000 members of the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union working in passport offices across England, Scotland and Wales are due to participate in the industrial action lasting until 5 May.

Jersey workers are not due to be involved.
In a statement issued on social media, the government said on the weekend: “Jersey Customs and Immigration would like to reassure the public that it is not anticipated that there will be an impact upon the turnaround times for Jersey variant passports.”
