Thomas Robert Kergozou De La Boessiere, of no fixed address, has also been charged with breaching a community service order.
Magistrate Peter Harris said the Magistrate’s Court would retain jurisdiction for the case and adjourned it until Tuesday 27 September for sentencing.
Kergozou has been remanded in custody.
