Jersey-born Kahmal Ali Coughlan (18) appeared in the Royal Court on Friday.
He pleaded guilty to smuggling cannabis on or before 23 February this year and possessing the Class B drug at a flat in St. Saviour on 25 February.
A bail application was refused and Coughlan was remanded in custody until 16 December, when he will be sentenced by the Inferior Number of the Court.
