Ian David Priestley, from Derby, denies sexually assaulting one girl on two occasions in the 1990’s.
His defence lawyer, Advocate Lauren Glynn, also put forward a ‘not guilty’ plea for four counts of indecent assault and four counts of procuring an act of gross indecency with another teenager under the age of 16.
The offences with the second girl, who was referred to as Miss Y, are alleged to have happened on four different occasions at Howard David Park in St. Saviour during 2003.
The Bailiff, Sir William Bailhache, sitting with Jurats Olsen and Christensen, set a Royal Court trial date for the first week of August, commencing on the 30th July 2018.
Mr Priestley has been remanded on bail and is due back in court on 17th April for a directions hearing.
