Police officers went to the home of Elliot Victor Potier Gomes on 6 February 2022 on an unrelated matter and discovered 27 grams of cannabis there.
The Magistrate’s Court heard that Gomes had previous drugs convictions, the most recent from 2018.
He was allowed to pay the fine at the rate of £200 per month.
