Sean De La Haye was jailed for two months and one week, after failing to comply with an appointment in January this year.
The Magistrate’s Court heard earlier this week that De La Haye previously breached court orders related to entering licensed premises in October last year.
Advocate Mark Boothman, defending, said: “His history with the court arises with the consumption of alcohol and with his ADHD, he is in a spiral where he finds himself in court.
“He doesn’t want to go to prison but understands that the only sensible decision is this decision.”
Presiding, Magistrate Peter Harris said: “You’ve got yourself in a right mess, haven’t you?
“It’s alcohol, take alcohol out of the equation and your life would be very different.”
De La Haye, who had 70 hours of community service outstanding, was instead jailed.
