Michael John Huby is accused of having acquired software that helped erase or hide the internet history from electronic devices.
Today, Relief Magistrate David Le Cornu agreed that, since the restraining order had been imposed by the Royal Court, Mr Huby’s alleged breach should be dealt with by the same court.
Mr Huby, who is defended by Advocate James Bell, will appear before the Royal Court on 26 October. He has been remanded in custody in the meantime.
