A one-minute silence will be led by the Lieutenant Governor, the Bailiff and the Chief Minister this afternoon at 15:00, to coincide with the Prince’s funeral at Windsor Castle.

Three supporting contingents will accompany them, with a group of Principles, alongside States Assembly members and Uniformed and Veterans of the Joint Services Association.

Parade Commander and Officer Commanding the Jersey Field Squadron, Major Charlie Martell RE, will bring the Parade to attention.

The Lieutenant Governor, Chief Minister, and Bailiff will then arrive from the ceremonial doors of the Royal Court Building, followed by a short bidding by the Dean to precede the one minute’s silence.

Once the silence is completed, the Principals will move to meet the Veterans in attendance, before the Parade will then be dismissed by the Parade commander.

The event will be available to live stream through the Government of Jersey social media accounts.

The Jersey Football Association have also announced that all combination club local fixtures scheduled for today at 14:00 will now kick off at 12:45 as a mark of respect, and any games taking place at 16:00 now be kicking off at 16:30.
