Emergency Services were called to Green Street at 19:45 on Friday (18 November) after the teenager boy’s silver VW Polo clipped the curb and collided with the storage unit.
The Fire and Rescue Service removed the vehicle from the bike rack so it could be towed away, while paramedics tended to the driver.
A Police spokesperson confirmed this morning that the young man did not suffer any injuries, but was left “shaken up” by the collision.
They added that he had been asked to appear at a Parish Hall Enquiry “for driving without due care and attention”.
The road was reopened at 20:15.
