Part of Plat Douet Road has been closed for six days for “urgent” gas works.
A short section of the northbound lane of Plat Douet Road near Greve d’Azette is due to be closed from Saturday 6 until Friday 12 December to allow Island Energy to complete the works.

A spokesperson for the utility company said “traffic will still be able to travel southbound, and access for residents and businesses will be maintained”.
They added in a statement: “Minor delays may occur during this period, and we kindly ask road users to allow extra time for their journeys.
“These urgent works require traffic management to enable safe working conditions for our staff and continued public access for residents.
“We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we complete this important work.”
