The win propelled the island side to the top of the RFU Championship table, with a six-point lead at the final whistle.

The game saw the lead change hands six times, keeping the crowd of over 3,000 spectators on the edge of their seats.

Despite challenging weather conditions, including rain and dark skies, the Reds held their nerve and secured the win with a pivotal try from Will Brown.

The victory also ended a 13-match losing streak against Ealing for the Reds, dating back to 2015. With one more game to play, the Reds are focused on clinching the title, while Ealing must win and hope for a slip-up from their rivals.

Both teams praised each other’s performances, and the game was hailed as a great advert for the league.

So what does this mean for the Reds? Analysis and full match report in today’s JEP
