Whilst on his morning walk, the last thing islander Rory Hughes expected to find was two pigs wandering along the Railway Walk.
The animals were spotted darting across the pathway in St Brelade.
It is currently unknown where they have escaped from, but Kate Hackett from Brooklands Farm confirmed that all her pigs are “all safe and sound”.
Rory’s partner Michelle posted a picture of the animal to Facebook this morning.
She told Express: “I think they were saving their bacon just in time for next week’s Christmas roast and making a run for it!”
Islanders took to the comments to share their thoughts.
