King Charles first visited Jersey in 1968, where he took part in archeological excavations taking place at La Cotte de St. Brelade.

The King visited again in 1995, in 2004 in celebration of the island’s 800 years of allegiance to the Crown, and most recently in 2012 as part of the late Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations
