However, due to the covid-19 pandemic, he has been volunteering at Morriston Hospital’s children’s emergency unit instead, providing support and assistance to the local NHS team.
In a live broadcast on Facebook last Saturday, former US presidential candidate Clinton singled out Robert and his colleague Samuel Murkin for their efforts, praising the two student cadets for “providing emergency services during the pandemic.”

Robert told Express that “it was an amazing surprise to receive acknowledgement from Hillary Clinton for all the hard work myself and my colleagues have been doing.”
Elaborating on his experience, he continued: “Working in Morriston Hospital during the Coronavirus pandemic has been a challenging yet rewarding experience.
“This unique opportunity has allowed me to develop clinical skills that I will utilise throughout my future career.”
