From Monday 6 July, the public can visit Le Moulin de Quétivel on Mondays from 10:00 until 16:00.
The new ‘Mill Mondays’ are aimed at households of all ages.
Activities are varied and range from venturing into the Victorian kitchen to learn how to make traditional sweet treat, the Jersey Wonder, to participating in a scavenger hunt in the woodland.
Other activities include:
- Bread making presentation using Quetivel Mill flour
- Corn dolly instructions and wheat to take away
- Meet the miller and learn how the millstones work
- Children’s scavenger hunt in the woodland
- National Trust for Jersey gift shop
- Le Moulin de Quétivel flour on sale – milled on 30 June 2020
- Self-guided walks and trails through St Peter’s Valley
Tickets should be purchased in advance from the Trust’s website to restrict visitor numbers inside the mill.
One household will be admitted every 10 minutes, and the visit duration is approximately 40 minutes.
Admission is free for National Trust members and costs £10 per household for non-members.
