The line-up for the event includes west coast hip-hop legends Pharcyde, as well as dance acts Josh Wink, Norman Jay OBE, Jazzie B OBE and Daddy G from Massive Attack.

Mr Newman said: “The forecast is looking good for the day, and that’s a huge relief.
“Big outdoor events are very dependent on the weather, so it’s great news that the sun is going to be shining.
“We are just about on track for ticket sales. Unfortunately, everyone in Jersey is very last minute, so it’s quite hard to forecast. The reaction that we are getting from our social media and the conversations that we are having show it’s going to be a great event.”
Asked which acts he was most looking forward to from the line-up, Mr Newman said that “the harsh reality is that we’ll be sitting in a room, running the event” but that he hoped to be able to get out for Josh Wink and Justin Robertson’s DJ sets.
