Weather permitting, the winner will get to enjoy a flying display. They’ll also be invited to sit in with the pilots on a pre-sortie brief and debrief.
The visit will also include a presentation on the activities of the Red Arrows by one of the Squadron’s officers, lunch with the team, a guided tour of the Hawk aircraft with an engineer as well as photographs in front of one of the Arrows.

The charity say they are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity after it was recently announced the Red Arrows will not be coming to Jersey or Guernsey for next year’s Air Displays, due to the team being on a diplomatic tour in the USA and Canada. The team will be on their first tour of the USA in more than 25 years on Thursday 12 September, the date set for the Channel Islands Air Display 2019.
Fiona Walker, Auction Co-Ordinator, commented: “We are always on the lookout for exciting and exhilarating items for auction, and a day with the Red Arrows is certainly spectacular!
“It is an ever-increasing challenge to raise the funds needed to help Jersey families over the Christmas period, so naturally we are hoping that this will attract some extremely competitive bidding. We are currently trying to source around 200 varied lots to make the 2018 auction a success and we hope this will inspire other people to donate items to come under the hammer.”
