The Fire Service also searched other ‘standing water’ areas, as well as nearby streams yesterday, as the search zone was broadened to the east and west of Devil’s Hole.
Ms Jehan caught a bus to the area on Friday lunchtime, but that’s the last time she was seen.
So far the search has involved the Police, the Coastguard, the Fire Service, Jersey Red Cross and volunteers from Jersey Search and Rescue.
Over the weekend, the Police urged islanders not to join in too, because of what they described as the “dangers in the area”.
Ms Jehan is described as being 5’6″ tall, of proportionate build with light brown/blonde hair. She’s believed to have been wearing a black coat, dark clothing, glasses and carrying a small black handbag.
