The man in his 20s had fallen while working on a ladder at the old signal station at La Moye, injuring his legs.
Firefighters had to lower him eight-metres by ropes to the ground after paramedics had treated him at the scene.
A team of 11 firefighters and two paramedics attended the incident.
The crews were also called to treat an elderly man who had suffered a suspected stroke nearby, as well as a smoke investigation in town at around the same time.
Watch Commander Richard Ryan said: “The incidents that green watch have attended over this weekend demonstrate the varied roles undertaken by a modern fire and rescue service.”
