The hotel, which was represented in the Royal Court on Friday by Advocate Steven Chiddicks with its Chair, James Taylor, present, pleaded guilty to a single charge of breaking part of the covid-19 regulations, which came into force last May.

Specifically, the company behind the hotel admitted that it opened a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna facilities in its Spa Sirène between 22 June and 8 September when it was prohibited from doing so.

The Royal Yacht Hotel Ltd will be sentenced on 30 April.
