Carly Lucas, Barbara Czaja, Mark Wilden and DS Sarah Hamon are all winners of the Safeguarding Partnership Board’s awards.
Carly Lucas and Barbara Czaja are both Independent Domestic Violence Advisors, Mark Wilden is an Independent Living Co-ordinators at Andium Homes and DS Sarah Hamon is from the Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
They’ll be picking up their awards at St Paul’s Centre at the Safeguarding Partnership Board Development Day which brings together agencies and individuals who all work to protect children and adults from harm.
Dr Russell Wate QPM. MSc (Chair of Peterborough Adults’ and Children’s Safeguarding Boards) is the key note speaker for the day and will be talking about effective multi- agency working to safeguard adults and children.
The Independent Chair of the Safeguarding Partnership Board, Glenys Johnston, OBE, said: “It is important that we recognise the invaluable contribution all frontline professionals make in safeguarding vulnerable children and adults in Jersey; without their commitment and effort, safeguarding would not be effective.”
