Storm Ciarán brought hurricane-strength winds, torrential rains and widespread devastation to the island – with the Railway Walk left covered in fallen trees, overhanging branches, and dangerous debris.
The weekly Park Run event – which features a section of the Railway Walk as part of the 5km route – has been cancelled since the storm at the beginning of the month.
The wet, windy weather over the weekend also continued to hamper repairs to Hautlieu and Samarès schools.
There are leaks at both schools which still need repairing and work is ongoing.
Enough progress was made with repairs at Hautlieu School to allow it to be partially reopened to some students today.
It is hoped the whole school will be back in from Wednesday.

At Samarès School, the hall and some upstairs areas are still out of use.
However, all pupils are now back at school with some lessons happening at the nearby Youth Centre and Le Clos Mourant Estate while repairs continue.
