The plans, revealed on the Tamba Park website, asks Islanders to vote for the new development.
It reads: “Tamba Park has so much more it can offer. We have the space, but it is currently being used up with a lot of old glass. Agriculture gets some land back, we get rid of an old glass house that has zero use and we build some houses to help the Island’s housing shortage, but more importantly, the Island gets something it desperately needs – more entertainment and many new jobs created. A win-win solution for everybody.
“Over the past few years Jersey’s entertainment industry has been in sharp decline, which not only affects our appeal to tourists, but also people living on the Island. Fort Regent is a former image of itself. The Living Legend, Butterfly Farm and Fantastic Tropical Gardens have all closed.
“I know from creating Tamba Park that the need and want for more in Jersey is greater than ever.”
